    • Thanks, Ken. I probably have shot a hundred frames here over the years, maybe more. I find the shale endlessly fascinating. It’s constantly being sloughed off by rainstorms and rushing river water, but goes so deep that it doesn’t matter. I figure it will last my lifetime without a problem.

  3. Thanks, Andy. It’s not even a second shot, just a crop of the first image. I wanted to make sure people saw the “nature’s mosaic” quality of this shale, so I gave them a closer look. I’m glad it appeals to you. Thanks, as always, for commenting.
