On the Way to Farmers Market 1
March 8, 2016
Usually, when the ibises come to town, I only see them from a moving car and without my camera. Saturday they were walking around right in front of me as I made my way to farmers market, camera around my neck. What a treat. I was able to get pretty close to them; they only scattered when a loud truck approached.
This is so cool!

There’s absolutely nothing artistic about this photograph, but, yeah, seeing all these rather large birds up close doing their thing is so cool. Glad you enjoyed the photo, Ken.

I love these guys – I remember being shocked and thrilled when I saw a group in a little ditch-y place by the side of a shopping center, when I spent time in the Fort Myers area. To my eyes they were candy, everyone else just passed them by. Fun shot!

Yes, I couldn’t resist taking their photos, and then I couldn’t resist posting one. Fun indeed.
