I have to agree. Glad you’re still with me, Ken.

I think this veers towards an Yves Klein blue, or the colors you see in Moroccan and desert textiles – those vivid blues that are so deep. I’m glad you kept going with this, and can’t help but wonder if anyone saw you there, taking the photos.

I often wonder if anyone is watching when I photograph what I think other people think of as weird things. Sometimes people actually approach me, and when I explain what appeals to me about the thing I’m photographing, they often say “ohhh,” as if they now see it, too. I love when that happens. Sometimes when they answer “uh huh” in a flat voice, I show them the image in the camera, and they get it then. Sometimes when they answer “uh huh” in a flat voice and I show them the image in the camera, they still don’t get it. Sometimes when they answer “uh huh” in a flat voice, I don’t even show them.

P.S. Yes about the Yves Klein blue. And Moroccan blue, which I Googled and found on walls drenched with it. Thanks! Such a wonderful educator you are.
