More mallards gathered on sunset-struck Rock Pond Monday night than I’d seen there previously.

Thanks, Lynn. Well, the light thanks you. Yes, I noticed today that birds are starting their conclaves. Saw and heard quite a swarm of Canada geese this morning. They’re only kidding around, though. They don’t go anywhere else, like south.
