I’ve had some questions about why the refrigerator looks like this. Here’s the secret: There’s a window with blinds opposite the fridge, and in front of the blinds hangs an orange glass light fixture. The window faces west, I think, and it was late afternoon, so the sun was coming in at a nice angle to shine through the blinds and the light fixture and project onto the fridge. I think the blue is from the sky.

Thanks, Lynn. I was frantic to get this shot (many clicks!) before the light changed. No mood here except maybe humor.

Oh Linda, your eye has been working well. What a fabulous image. When we ‘See’, images are never far away – we don’t even have to leave the kitchen!

Thank you, Andy. I’ve often thought that if I ever became housebound, as long as I had any degree of mobility—and maybe even if I had none—I’d still be able to make photographs.
